JEREMY CARSWELL

Jeremy Carswell came up in a musical home, living and breathing music. He played upright bass in an orchestra at age seven. Another highlight for him, in his early years was an opportunity to take up the electric bass guitar.  Carswell has played with different musicians (notably Lyle Lovett.) but is particularly proud of the current lineup because, ”they’re great musicians and I’m having more fun than ever. We’re also best friends”. When he’s not in the studio, or playing live shows, Jeremy is happiest being a father, making or discovering new art or just enjoying his everyday life.

Jeremy Carswell has released 12 albums independently since 2012. He spent 2020/21 in the studio working, refining, and polishing a new set of songs which are amazing! Jeremy is excited, and proud of the new material and looks forward to its release on the Visionary Noise label.

Jeremy Carswell, musician, singer, songwriter, and producer. Jeremy’s first album, an amazingly well-produced collection of strong songs, in 2025 with “Dance All Night” as his first single.  Dance All Night found its way onto multiple radio stations, through cable TV., various playlists, and to many listeners who appreciated it.

His lyrics are centered around love and introspection within the context of the album themes. The lyrics and music lead a listener on a spiritual and emotional journey. One that young people face in overcoming the challenges of today’s world. It’s a lovely triumphant journey and one that is set to the beat.

AMERICAN TORTURE

Carswell’s new album release is ambitious, innovative, and is bringing a fresh, new feel to the scene. American Torture is lyricly and melodically rich. It’s full of artful phrases, transporting songs, and sounds which evoke the feelings of growing up in suburban America. Recorded in Houston, Texas, at King Benny House of Sound. “Blockhead” was recorded at the iconic Sugar Hills Studio in Houston, Texas. It’s a pop-rock love song that reminds everyone of the importance of love for the world while singing a quite personal, and passionate song. A variety of instruments were used in addition to drums, and guitar, stand up bass, synthesizers, and more! Though short it’s sonically rich and packs a great message that it never hurts to hear.

TOO MUCH

Jeremy will be releasing the single “Too Much”. The song was written several years prior, is a  reflection of dreams and drive in the face of excess and loss. Truly somber at times yet somehow turning and twisting into a tale to tenacity, motion, and hope. The release is to accompany the magnificent video created by Ethan Duke.

Jeremy’s brand and image employed an innovative approach, not wishing to feature only images of himself, he sought artists, and filmmakers to coordinate a marketing campaign using contemporary art including local Houston artists. Artists such as Kate Mulholland, Ethan Duke, and Doria Rosa influenced, collaborated, or participated to create original artwork for each of the songs on the new releases in 2021.
